Hello all! We would like to introduce ourselves as four, third grade science teachers from Zachary, Louisiana. Our team has written a grant that was funded by the The Rural and Community Trust Fund, and we are excited to begin our journey as we travel to Hawaii to improve our geology curriculum. We will soon be blogging about our adventures as we climb volcanoes, see results of plate tectonics, and interact with scientists and teachers in Hawaii. We invite you to come along and experience the Big Island's geological wonders, beginning July 8, 2011.
